General Terms and Conditions Chalet Durbuy 123

(On Holiday park Sunclass Durbuy: Rue d’Andenne 20; B-6940 Durbuy (Belgium) Lot number 123)

General
These general terms and conditions apply to all users of Chalet Durbuy 123. A copy of these general terms and conditions will be provided on request.

  • In this context, “Users” means: anyone who uses Chalet Durbuy 123.
  • Users must have a permanent address.
  • Users must follow the instructions of the owner, Mr. R. de Boer, as well as Mrs. O. de Boer and Mr. P. de Boer.
  • The administration of the owner is decisive in the event of a difference of opinion, unless users demonstrate the contrary.
  • Users must abide by the house rules (see below). In case of violation of the general terms and conditions and/or the house rules, as well as if owner deems it necessary in connection with violation of laws or other inappropriate behavior, owner may deny users access to Chalet Durbuy 123 with immediate effect, without further explanation and without refund of the accommodation costs.
  • The owner is not liable for any damage whatsoever, such as damage, loss or theft of/to users’ properties. All damage caused during a user’s stay at Chalet Durbuy 123 is for the account of the user(s). Damage to property of the owner of Chalet Durbuy 123 must be reimbursed by the user(s) to the owner of Chalet Durbuy 123. Except in case of intent or gross negligence on the part of the owner.
  • Dutch law applies. This translation is for the sole purpose of clarifying the original Dutch text. The Dutch text of the general terms and conditions is binding.

Reservation and confirmation
Reservation of a stay at Chalet Durbuy 123 can be made by telephone, by e-mail, via various booking websites or via our own website. When booking via booking websites, the reservation and confirmation rules of those websites apply. For direct bookings with the owner, the reservation is only final after (down) payment.

Payment
When booking via booking websites, the payment conditions of those websites must be met. The following applies to direct bookings with the owner:

  • 10% down payment when making a reservation/booking;
  • The remainder must be credited to the owner’s account at least 2 weeks before arrival.
  • In the unlikely event that you are unable to fulfill the agreement entered into, please inform the owner as soon as possible by email or telephone. In the event of cancellation and also if the user does not appear without cancellation (“no show”), the following compensation is due to the owner:
  • Up to two weeks before the start date of the rental, cancellation is free of charge.
  • In the event of cancellation within two weeks before the commencement date, 50% of the total agreed costs will be owed as compensation.
  • In case of cancellation within a week before the commencement date, 75% of the total agreed amount is due as compensation.
  • In case of cancellation and in case of no show on commencement date, 100% of the agreed amount is due as compensation.

Use of Chalet Durbuy 123
Chalet Durbuy 123 is exclusively for holidays, “week away” and “weekends away”. Meetings and parties (such as Bachelor parties and graduation parties) are therefore not allowed.

House rules
On the day of arrival, you can check in at the Park reception from 15:00hrs (3 pm). Departure is always no later than 10:00hrs (10 am) on the day of departure.
The instructions of the employees of Holiday Park Sunclass Durbuy must always be followed. Open fire and fireworks are prohibited everywhere and at all times at Holiday Park Sunclass Durbuy.
